This Trowbridge was married to the daughter of one of First settlers in Rock Island County.  (Mary Jane Martin, Daughter of Joseph Martin)Both buried in Walker Cemetery (Hillsdale) canoe creek.

I think he was born 1812 time frame in New York?  Married Mary Jane Ennis in 1844 in Rock Island County. (No history until he married Mary Jane Ennis⁄Martin. (note spelling is wrong) Son Charles D Trowbridge was Born in 1848 in Rock Island County.  The Trowbridge I’m looking for died in 1852.  I think in Rock Island County.  I also have 1860 Census document with C B Trowbridge listed. (Think it’s supposed to be C D Trowbridge for Charles David) Plus the Child is C D Trowbridge not Ennis.

The below Trowbridge is his Son and I think has same exact name is listed below.  Looks like when the first Charles died 1852 and the property went into probate for his son listed below.

TROWBRIDGE CHARLES D.  Farmer; Sec. 18; P. O. Hillsdale; born in Rock Island Co., Ill., in 1847; Dem; owns 80 acres land, value $4,000 ; married Louisa B. Beatty, of Rock Island Co., Ill., in 1874; one boy, Clive
Looks the Charles I’m looking for voted in 1842.
Anything would help to find out where he came from.
